Armed Robbery Shocks Westlake District in Late-Night Heist

Just before midnight on September 4, 2025, the Westlake District of Los Angeles was rattled by a brazen armed robbery at a convenience store near Alvarado Street and 7th Street. According to NBC Los Angeles, two masked suspects stormed the shop around 11:45 p.m., brandishing handguns and demanding cash from the terrified clerk.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reports that the robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of money and several packs of cigarettes before fleeing on foot.
